What sights are included in the London Pass App?
The London Pass allows you unlimited entry to over 80 of the most popular tourist attractions in London. These include:

The pass also includes free hop-on/hop-off bus tours, boat rides and discounts and special deals on things like theatre tickets, helicopter tours and other attractions.
What’s not included?
The London Eye and Madame Tussauds are two of the best known attractions that are not covered with the London Pass. You will need to buy separate entry tickets for these two popular Lonson attractions.
How does the London Pass App work?
In the past you would need to order your London Pass and then either collect it on arrival in London (complete with little guide book); or pick up one of the credit card sized passes at any tourist office or shop in town.
With the London Pass App, you can avoid carrying around those cards and guide books, and just use your smartphone. Make sure you have plenty of battery though!
How to activate your London Pass App:
- Go to the London Pass website and choose how many days you want your pass for.
- At checkout, select the mobile option. Note, you can’t include travel with the mobile London Pass.
- Download the app in either the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Enter your reference number and authorisation code in the app.
- Your London Pass is then stored in the app, or you can add the QR code to your wallet/passbook and easily forward the codes to your travel companions.
You don’t need a data connection to access your London Pass QR code, so you can simply download and go sightseeing!

Is it worth getting the London Pass App?
When it comes to sightseeing in London, the prices can quickly add up. And, if you’re planning on a boat ride or hop-on/hop-off bus tour as well as entry to places like the Tower of London and the Shard, the London Pass App will be a good idea.
Basically, if you’re planning on doing a lot of sightseeing in London, the London Pass could save you quite a bit of money. With a three day itinerary, it’s estimated that you could save up to £127 off entry fees! And in London, you’ll want to save as much money as you can…
